MDE Tracking Number
Maryland Department of the Environment requires a tracking number for a lead certificate and registration of your pre-1978 rental property. You can contact them directly at 410-537-4199.
Provide the following information to MDE.
- Owner's Name
- Owner's Phone Number
- Owner's Email
- Rental Property Address
- County of Rental Property
- Mailing Address
* Property information should match the rental property's tax record information.
After you receive your tracking number you will be able to login to MDE’s online system and pay the $30 registration fee.
